Mino geezhib!

We have been meeting so many beautiful people in the Interlake. Walkers from joined us over the past three days from Peguis, Riverton, Gimli and Winnipeg. Special miigwetch to Riverton Friendship Centre for hosting us, Carolyn Dyane and the community of Gimli for the feast, and all of the special people who have stopped to share their stories with us along he road.

Today, Jess and Katherine are just heading out to get started this morning, a bit later than normal, but for a very good reason!

We stopped to say good morning to these beautiful young women and their Counsellors at Hnausa Beach campground and ended up staying to share amazing blueberry pancakes.

We are now off to our starting point at Claude and Carol Hébert’s home in Willow Creek (miigwetch Carol for sharing these beautiful photos).

Watch for us along hwy 9 heading in to Petersfield today! Walk safe!
